FCPS hiring substitute bus drivers and monitors

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Fayette County Public Schools is hiring substitute bus drivers and bus monitors as it prepares for the upcoming school year.

Both positions are temporary and pay $15 an hour. According to the district, bus monitors play a critical role in keeping students safe, particularly those with special needs, while drivers will be responsible for transporting students to and from school, field trips, and other events.

Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds and adhere to all safety guidelines. Interested individuals can apply through the Fayette County Public Schools website.
