Curfew declared for parts of Pulaski County following storm damage

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) In response to recent severe weather, Pulaski County Judge Executive Marshall Todd has issued a curfew for parts of the county beginning Sunday night.

According to the official declaration, the curfew applies to the Parkers Mill Road area and adjacent side roads, including Parkers Mill Way. The curfew will be in effect nightly from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., starting Monday, and will remain in place until further notice.

The declaration states that only residents with proper identification and proof of residence, as well as authorized personnel involved in recovery and restoration efforts, will be permitted in the area during curfew hours. No exceptions will be made, states the declaration.

Unauthorized individuals found in the curfew zone during restricted hours may face criminal charges, the document warns.

Todd says the measure is necessary to ensure public safety and security in the areas hardest hit by the recent storm
