Spring Mock Scrapes, Part II

Inside corners are another perfect location for a spring mock scrape. Deer naturally travel and utilize inside corners, making this an easy place to establish a scrape. Many of the inside corner scrapes I make turn into community scrapes, which are deer magnets!

If you are new to creating mock scrapes and unsure what to do, I can help you. This video will walk you through creating a mock scrape for deer communication. Making scrapes is more straightforward than you think!

Spring mock scrapes can make early-season inventory easy. A well-placed mock scrape near a bedding area, funnel, or inside corner lets you watch velvet growth and learn about established patterns deer like to travel.
