UK celebrates December graduates with two ceremonies

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The University of Kentucky is hosting its December commencements today, with two ceremonies at Rupp Arena in downtown Lexington.

The first ceremony begins at 10 a.m., followed by the second at 3 p.m. According to the university, more than 1,200 graduates are registered to participate.

UK officials say the ceremonies will also be livestreamed on YouTube for those unable to attend in person.
