Profile Image in your Summary View

Here we are going to cover how to make your profile image such as a picture or an animated background.

Here is what it looks like in your "Summary" page of your profile.


Go to your Forum Profile Tab, third one down is the "Look and Layout" items you can change.

There is a place called "Profile Cover". This is where you would put the web link to the picture or animated gif you would like to use.

You can upload pictures (non-ani mated) into site Gallery. Copy the direct link and place into that "Profile Cover" field. It will look like this: https://tristatesurvival.com/gallery/2_19_12_23_11_35_22.jpeg : it supports different picture formats like .png, .jpeg, .jpg, etc, etc.. Paste that link and give it try!    You can also paste a link to any picture on the web if you have one in mind you like, any link with a supported extension will work. (ex. abc.com/mypicture.png)

Now, let's talk about animated pics called GIF's. Same idea, need to post the direct link into that "Profile Cover" field. Here are some to try by copying and pasting and get an idea of it. If you find an animated GIF online you like; right click on it and copy "copy image address". Paste it into the field.
