Lexington Police investigate after woman arrives at hospital with gunshot wound

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington police are investigating after a woman arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound Monday night. Officers were dispatched around 9:10 p.m. after the victim sought medical treatment for what officials say is a non-life-threatening injury.

Investigators have not yet determined where the shooting occurred.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Lexington police or submit an anonymous tip through Bluegrass Crime Stoppers.

The investigation is ongoing.
