One dead, woman injured in Nicholasville shooting, say police

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Nicholasville Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday morning on Edgewood Drive.

According to police, officers were called around 9:30 a.m. to the Edgewood Drive home. When they arrived, they found a man dead and a woman who had also been shot. Police say she is stable right now.

Investigators say the alleged shooter is cooperating and is currently being interviewed by detectives. Police add they are in the process of obtaining a search warrant related to the case.
