The goal of Bowhunting.net is to bring you current, relevant, exciting, and scientific information that will help you become a better archer and hunter.  As the year progresses and hunting season draws nearer, we will add increased editorial expertise to the site.  Brian Kightlinger is an experienced hunter who articulates strategies and information well, and we are delighted to have him on our team.  Here’s a sample of his experience:

Award-winning author Brian R. Kightlinger is an avid outdoorsman, husband, father, middle school social studies teacher, and official whitetail deer scorer from Northwest Pennsylvania. He has been passionate about everything outdoors since his youth. Brian enjoys shooting archery and competing in 3D archery competitions. He also loves talking about whitetail deer, turkey, and exotics and meeting others who share his passion. Brian is a member of the Pennsylvania Outdoor Writers Association, Mason-Dixon Outdoor Writers Association, and the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers.
