Two suspects identified in fatal Chinoe Road shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police have identified two suspects connected to the shooting death of Gregory Williams, which occurred on November 30 on Chinoe Road.

Authorities say Jeremiah Mitchell is wanted on charges including murder, wanton endangerment, and criminal mischief. He also faces additional warrants for failure to appear and violating conditions of release. Alexis Compton is wanted for complicity to murder.

The shooting took place around 6:43 p.m. in the 1000 block of Chinoe Road. When officers arrived, they found Williams suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital but died from his injuries the following day.
