President Trump to address the nation Wednesday night from the White House

(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – President Donald Trump is scheduled to address the nation Wednesday night in a live speech from the White House.

Trump announced the address Tuesday in a post on Truth Social.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News the president plans to highlight his accomplishments during the address. She also said Trump may preview upcoming policy actions expected in the new year.

The address is scheduled for 9 p.m. Eastern Time Wednesday evening.
