Paris Pike to close overnight under I-75 bridge for widening project work

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Drivers on Paris Pike should plan for an overnight closure beginning at midnight as part of the ongoing I-75 widening project.

Paris Pike will be closed in both directions under the I-75 bridge. Detours will be in place until all lanes reopen at 5 a.m. Friday.

Traffic heading eastbound on Paris Pike will be directed onto I-75 South to Exit 110, where drivers can turn around and re-enter Paris Pike eastbound at Exit 113.

Westbound drivers will detour onto I-75 North to Exit 115, then turn around and re-enter Paris Pike westbound at Exit 113.

Transportation officials urge drivers to follow posted signs and plan extra travel time.
