Well this is inspiring. This man started with a small hunting cabin and built it out a little each year to a very comfortable off grid home for less than 20K. Lots or great tips and ideas on off grid systems. He did a beautiful job and all the systems have back ups and he explains how he did it. He does not have a contracting back round he just learned as he went along.
